Where Are You Going

I've been massively flustered with work so I put my itunes on shuffle to just listen to music and tune out and this popped up! The first few lines of the song felt like he was talking to me. lol. If you feel a bit lost and think you need to have all the answers this is a good tune to listen to :) Enjoy!!

Ingrid Michaelson - Parachute (new video)

Love love love!!!!! The New video and version by Ingrid. She is simply awesome. I wasn't a fan of the previous video of this song since it didn't seem extremely Ingrid, I couldn't even recognise her but this one is simple and beautiful like her. So pleased she did her own version of the song. Cheryl Cole did not do justice to this song!

I took the pictures below a few days back outside my house. Was a gloomy day but then a beautiful rainbow appeared. Nature is wonderful isn't it. I spent time just looking at the rainbow and the colours are incredible. So much detail. God’s creation is just breathtaking!!! These picture do not do justice.

Del Amitri - Tell Her This

Happy Valentines Day All.

I didn't do anything super interesting other than Skype my boyfriend for a solid 2 hours which was great. The most amusing thing I saw today was someone's facebook status, "Happy Valentines day all you couples and happy singles awareness day everyone else." Sad but hilarious!

Del Amitri is one of my all time favourite bands. Clearly their music is timeless. This is a bit of a mushy song but thankfully mushy is expected this time of year. :)

Tell her not to cry

I just got scared that's all

Tell her I'll be by her side, all she has to do is call

(Happy 3yr Anniversary Angel! I love u.)

Athlete - Wires

Such a stunning song by Athlete. I know most think it's a sad song but to me it’s a liberating song.  It is about letting go but letting go with such amity. Hope you enjoy this wistful tune. It’s a perfect break up song for those who need to let go.

"Running, down corridors through, automatic doors
Got to get to you, got to see this through
I see hope is here, in a plastic box
I've seen christmas lights, reflect in your eyes"

Waving you on

(Laura Marling - I Speak Because I can)

In the breaking of the morning we'll be dancing on my soft lawn
When you're shaking out the anger that stops you from taking my call
When you're running up the highway
Singing I'm the king, the king of you all
When you look back to where it started
I'll be there waving you on

Romeo and Juliet

The big 'V-day' is coming up. Apparently one of the joys of wonderful February. After walking around town I am now quite sick of the 'love' buzz! It's sad how even something as precious as LOVE becomes a marketing campaign. I am posting Romeo and Juliet by Lisa since it shows a very simple and blissful side to love.

True any love has its complication and baggage but this song is just a drift away. Sucks you into your own world and helps you tune out of the manic around. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do. x
